repaint repaint and thin no more...

apparently, the debate btwn these two paint brands is substantial. My hope is that it will soon be resolved. A paint choosing party is planned for early October sometime...

I'm surprised Natasha didn't pipe in with the brand choice. In Colorado, we had both Behr & Sherwinn Williams paints. Sherwinn Williams is BY FAR superior. We used substantially less than the Behr, because the Behr was so much thinner and didn't cover as well. In many rooms, we had to put on three coats of Behr, vs one of SW (plus a few touch up spots). SW is more expensive, but worth every penny! (We buy the lowest grade at SW).

Maybe I should have read the comments on the previous post first.

Dale, do we even have Sherwinn Williams paint in Southern Alberta (Lethbridge area)? Seriously though, hands down best paint (in Canada) is Home Hardware Beauti Tone paint - Silk finish. We've painted four different houses, on more than one occasion, since we've been married and hands down it is the best paint ever! Not even too bad of a price.

I'm going with teach on this one. My Ma-in-law is a pro house painter and swears (gosh-darn-it) by the stuff. Don't let the over-price hoidee-toidee paints get you all choked up over the choice.
