Check out my wife would ya...

If 25% of the Canadian population had a completely preventable condition but developed the condition due to negligence the government would still be all over it with funding for supports, equipment, teaching aids etc. This is the case for individuals who are paralyzed or have some sort of disability related to motor vehicle accidents. Maybe because this type of injury care is driven by insurance premiums and payouts it's worth the political will to create supportive health programs. So why is FAS, this far more pervasive condition, not given the same support? Can you imagine buying insurance in case of birth injury related to in utero conditions or birth trauma? What a money maker.
Oh yeah and by the way Day 1 was sucessful. I was at Dairy Queen with the youth group after swimming and had nothing to eat. And later at home resisted the fridge raid...
Thanks for the encouragement so far...
