Dad here you go
Here's my loyalties for the playoffs
over Detroit
Detroit is too old and they slid into first in a super easy division...
over Anahiem. People out here say it is gonna be a close series but I just don't think Anahiem has that many weapons...
i also really like Carolina's chances they should get by Montreal but...
What do I know...
I mean Gil did not even invite me to join his hockey pool this year so obviously I am being dropped as excess baggage. Maybe he just doesn't like all the trash I throw his way.
So there you go...
Oh yeah sorry about all you freaks who insist on cheering for the Leafs.
Just a heads up - they are out of the playoffs.

yeah and your Oilers already lost the first game - At least the blue machine is shedding some excess baggage.
exactly what excess baggage are you referring to, Patrick? Their hockey equipment so that they can improve their golf stroke? :)
well they are not my oilers
i will cheer for the flames until they are out...
of course someone is going to call me on the closeness of the game so...
sure the score was tight but you have to acknowledge that Calgary spent much of the game in the penalty box.
It is too bad when the reffing gets in the way of a game. Calgary deserved 80% of thier penalties. Anaheim got away with a pile of potential penalties. It seemed a little one sided.
Anyway, playing shorthanded that long can seriously affect your game plan. if refs are going to be head hunting Calgary through the playoffs it will be a long road tothe stanley cup.
Dale,
I didn't neglect you, I was at home and couldn't find your email address. You've been in this thing for a while, you could have found a way. But I am sorry that you won't be propping up the pool this year.
uhm er i mean uhm cursed fate foiled at my chance at glory
i might still join just to get in on the trash...
nice try Jesse my son but unfortunately you somehow got that rotten gene that forced you to cheer for a sucky team.
i hate to break it to ya son but unfortunately
YOU LOSE!
maybe you and grandpa and uncle PAT could have a crying party some time over the phone...
