Senior's Moment
We (senior high) were at the Sunny South Lodge (Senior's residence) yesterday singing carols for the residents after which this conversation takes place: Senior Gentleman (SG): You know I was born near Russia. (Many of our seniors emmigrated from there) Me: Oh yeah, tell which part? SG: Estevan, Saskatchewan How True!
This actually has nothing to do with your post, but the other day Jesse mentioned to me that you had linked up to Mike King's blog, which I thought was super fun. The ministry that he does (Youthfront) was the ministry that I was really involved in back in high school. Mike was the trip leader when I went to Israel. Small world...
Patrick, I suspect he was comparing the generosity & hospitality of the people in Saskatchewan to that of the Russians ..... couldn't have been the socialist leanings :)
