Here's a question ... 'Does church leadership have an obligation to stop a situation which would warrant walking out, thereby protecting those who may not be as discerning?"

Well I realize it might make for a bit of a messy situation, but it could also provide an awsome opportunity for teaching what the church really believes if someone in church leadership were to stop the sideshow, invite the 'offenders' to leave the platform and then explain in detail why this step had been taken. I realize we don't like to make waves, don't want to 'offend' and certainly wouldn't want to cause a 'scene', BUT, isn't part of the role of a pastor (shepherd) to guard the flock?
